Your Knilling instrument is warranted without time limit by St. Louis Music, A division of U.S. Band & Orchestra Supplies Inc. to the original retail purchaser, provided the purchaser has not subsequently sold, leased, or rented this instrument. This Knilling instrument will be repaired or replaced at our option within the warranty period. If your instrument is discontinued and/or no longer in production, St. Louis Music will replace the instrument with one of comparable value and/or specifications. A copy of the purchase receipt must be produced at the time that service is needed. Warranty repairs will be made directly by St. Louis Music or an appointed service representative. Such repairs will include labor and materials.
This warranty is void under the following conditions:
For Knilling and Impuls electrified strings: E.Q. systems, pick-ups, and other electronic components are warranted under the same terms for a period of two years from date of purchase to the original purchaser.
Additionally, this warranty does not cover cracking of woods or finishes resulting from changes in climate or humidity. If you feel that your instrument requires warranty service, please take it to an authorized Knilling dealer for inspection.
If the instrument needs to be returned to St. Louis Music, it must be accompanied by instructions from the dealer about needed repairs, and a return authorization. Transportation charges to and from a dealer/service representative or St. Louis Music are the responsibility of the purchaser.
There are no other warranties, expressed or implied other than those stated in this warranty.
This warranty does not cover oxidation or tarnishing of silver or silver-plated instruments or parts. Nor does it cover deterioration of all finishes from perspiration, high humidity, extreme temperatures, or oxidation or tarnishing from other external causes. Dark lacquer and unlacquered instruments are intended to have a vintage or antique look, and any unevenness of lacquer is intended to contribute to this finish. Some oxidation and color change can be expected with these finishes and will enhance the vintage character of the horn. It is suggested that a soft cloth without chemicals be used after each use of the instrument.
Loss of use of the instrument and any inconvenience or loss of income due to a warranty issue are not covered by this warranty. If the instrument is defective in workmanship and/or materials, please contact the authorized Blessing dealer from whom you purchased it. The authorized dealer will contact Blessing Band Instruments authorize the repair or return. The purchaser should include a note with the defective instrument or part describing the defect and give owner’s name, address, and phone number, together with a copy of the original sales receipt that establishes the date and place of purchase. No warranty service will be performed unless proof of purchase from an authorized Blessing Band Instruments dealer has been received and an authorization to return has been issued. The instrument or part should be packed securely and returned freight prepaid.
